They've submitted plans for their first New South Wales project at 6 Grand Parade in Casuarina, the small coastal suburb south of Kingscliff.

The plans are for a "sub-tropical colonialism inspired residential oasis", which will comprise 91 apartments and terraces.

The project has been designed to meet the demand for the designer residential product in the region.

Azure Director Trent Keirnan said the vision for the Grand Parade site is to deliver something of lasting significance, that will create a bold interpretation of the classic coastal lifestyle, with the group taking to the Casuarina market at a time when demand for product in the region has reached fever pitch, as vacancy rates drop to a record low of 0.5 per cent.

“Figures show that vacancy rates are at an all-time low, underpinning the need for quality residences to meet the beachside haven’s continued population growth,” Keirnan said.

“It is a rare opportunity to enter the Casuarina property market, so there is no doubt that our 6 Grand Parade project will be a once in a lifetime development and a truly exclusive offering.”

Keirnan says the architectural design of the development will encapsulate eclectic Anglo Caribbean and Island Colonialism styles, while incorporating aspects of Casuarina’s natural coastal environment, laid back village atmosphere and natural wellness and activeness.

“Casuarina’s desirable coastal living features and atmosphere will be embraced and celebrated in the design and experience of the development, inclusive of the buildings sustainability,” he said.

The project will comprise four interconnected buildings centred around a sub-tropical courtyard pool area.

Three of its buildings will rise four-storeys each, while the western building will rise just two stories, with the design characterised by a soaring colonnade and strong facades, with a coastal colour palette among tropical landscaping.

The high-end project will be designed for the local and interstate owner-occupier market alongside holiday home investors.

Azure is a fully integrated business, with a construction property management and maintenance division responsible for the delivery of more than 900 dwellings across Queensland.

The group is currently building their Toowong project One Earle Lane, which comprises 94 one, two, three and four-bedroom residences, slated for completion in Q3 2024, as well as The Terraces in the Capestone precinct in Mango Hill.
