First Home Buyer Demand Drives Stage 2 Launch of the Avenue Edition

Leading property provider Azure Development Group has launched the next stage of its $10 million boutique project, The Avenue, as first home buyers continue to drive land sales in South East Queensland.

Conveniently situated halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in the hinterland suburb of Ormeau, the 1.5ha development will feature 47 generous home sites starting from $255,900.

Each of the properties exceed 500sqm in size and are surrounded by the natural landscape, with walking trails and popular fishing hotspot Pimpama River all within a short distance away.

Azure Development Group Director, Trent Keirnan said significant interest from South East Queenslanders entering the property market had driven the launch of the second phase.

“Following sales success since the project’s launch, we are excited to deliver the Stage 2 of The Avenue and meet the growing demand from local first home buyers who are ready to embrace the quintessential Australian lifestyle,” he said.

“The Avenue is perfect for families looking to build their dream home in a leafy, private setting without wanting to compromise on space or location – our properties are on average 70sqm larger than other sites in the Brisbane and Gold Coast corridor, which has been driving demand with first home buyers planning on building their forever home.”

The Ormeau development has attracted neighbouring Coomera locals Nicholas Tungatoa and Petra Mackintosh, who have purchased a 520sqm parcel of land with an easterly aspect.

Mr Tungatoa said the unique size of the property paired with the State Government’s $15,000 First Home Owners’ Grant drew them to sign a contract with Azure Development Group.

“Our land at The Avenue is really well positioned and it’s just so much bigger than anything else on the market… we were expecting to have to travel out west in a place more rural for this kind of size,” he said.

“The site is nice and flat too – a lot of the other land was much smaller and quite steep, which isn’t ideal for families wanting to put in a trampoline like us.

“The State Government Grant was also an incentive as we were saving for something anyway but weren’t sure where we wanted to buy so it has been a great bonus for us.”

The Avenue is situated at Eggersdorf Road and nearby amenities include a new Coles-anchored shopping centre, dining outlets, schools and day care.
