Welcome to the July construction update for Munro by Azure in Bundamba. We're excited to share the latest progress made throughout the month.
The detention basin footings have commenced, with blockwork walls set to follow and be completed in August. Concrete slabs have been completed for 12 buildings, comprising 76 terraces. The final 5 buildings and the communal area are slated for completion in August.
The River Road stormwater and road widening works are well progressed and are expected to be finished in August. All in-ground civil services, including electrical, stormwater, sewer, and water, are now complete. The under-slab services for the terraces are nearing completion, with only two buildings remaining.
Prefabricated timber framing for walls, flooring, and trusses has been completed for terraces 11 to 16 and 23 to 34. Framing has now commenced for terraces 1 to 6 and 35 to 44. Scaffold edge and void protection have begun for terraces 11 to 16 and 23 to 34. Roofing work has commenced on terraces 23 to 28.
Perimeter timber fencing is continuing steadily, and live sewer connections are now complete. Looking ahead, timber framing will commence for terraces 7 to 10 and 45 to 66 over the coming month with roofing installation to continue across the project.
Ground-up scaffold installation to the perimeter of buildings will follow roofing completion, enabling cladding installation to commence. Window installation is set to begin on terraces 23 to 34. Sand will be installed in backyards in preparation for topsoil and landscaping later in the project.
Services rough-in works will start on terraces 11 to 16 and 23 to 34 as cladding progresses. Plasterboard sheeting works will commence on terraces 23 to 28.
