Chris was previously Executive Director – Commercial Development for Springfield Land Corporation. During his 10 years in that role he spear headed all development associated with the $8bn, 2830ha master planned city.

This involved all aspects of the development process and a significant focus on managing strategic relationships. He has been directly involved in partnerships with groups such as James Fielding, Mirvac, Macquarie Bank, Suncorp, NEC, Telstra, Energex, University of Southern Queensland, ABC Childcare, Leighton and Lend Lease. Prior to Springfield Chris worked for 10 years in general contracting for Cordukes as a Construction and Business Development Manager.

In this role he gained an intimate knowledge of construction delivery and the importance of building long term partnerships. Chris is also passionate about the role Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has in built environments and this lead him to develop Springfield’s 72km dark fibre network and the $230M Polaris Data Centre. This passion drives Azure’s activities in Data Centres globally.
